@Mike3533 Along with death taxes are indeed inevitable. With effort they can be minimised though.

Hi @Mike3533

Welcome to the community 🙂

Could you tell us a bit more about what kind of help you need please?

In the meantime, perhaps this article will be a good starting point: 👉 Taxes for hosts

Thanks,

@Mike3533  IF you are trying to figure out the federal, state and municipality taxes that you are obligated to pay, I suggest that you meet with a tax accountant to help you with what you are required to pay taxes on and what you have in the way of deductions to offset your income.  A tax accountant can also assist with how to fill out required reports for each tax entity.

If you are trying to find out if taxes are being paid by AirBnB, you should be able to see that by going to your desktop, selecting your property under Listing and then selecting the cog (settings) icon.  Under the edit preferences, scroll down to taxes.  This will show the taxes that AirBnB is collecting and purportedly paying on your behalf.  It will NOT show the percentages or any details -- you have to know what those categories represent (tax accountant can help with this).
