Airbnb's platform is giving me fits setting up reservations for a government employee.
I live and have my BnB in an area that suffered catastrophic flood damage almost three weeks ago. While we didn't take any direct damage at the BnB, we had to close for three weeks because public water systems, electricity, telephone and Internet were all out.
We were lucky enough to be within walking distance of the FEMA Disaster Assistance Center and one of the workers booked our BnB as soon as we reopened. It's been a nightmare trying to navigate AirBnB to accommodate the government expense report requirements. The guest has to zero her expense requests every two weeks, which means she has to make another reservation to begin on the final day of the first reservation. She's never used ABnB, and I've never had anyone book another stay beginning on the day they check out.
HELP!
I can't figure out how to send her a special request for the second reservation so it falls within the government per diem. Since we lost two cars to the flood and had mudslides in our backyard and our kids' carport, I could really use this reservation to pay the bills.
Any suggestions? I can't just send a request to change the reservation because that will include the first four days that she has already turned in for reimbursement.
Maybe turn off IB so it forces a message to be sent requesting the new reservation?
Thanks.
Sam
