Hi,
I need to be able to look at past calendar months to see how many days I had the property on offer for tax purposes (year 2020). I do not understand how Airbnb would have removed such an important feature. Has anyone else figured out how to get this information?
Thank you,
Lynda
You are right
I have 3 listings and I use a multi-calendar where I can see past years.
I don't see past years if I open the calendar of each individual listing.
Multi calendar is available through professional hosting tools https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/2499/how-can-i-use-professional-hosting-tools
Hi @Lynda133 , I use the Link
https://www.airbnb.com/progress/earnings
That shows me to the calendar statistics which I need for my tax.
@Lynda133 Did you have days where the accommodation was not available due to personal use or maintenance? My tax accountant always asks me "how many days was the accommodation AVAILABLE to be rented, NOT how many days did I have a guest in situ. For 2020, I blocked my calendar for the months of March, April, May and part of June due to Covid restrictions in my municipality. However, my accountant did not adjust my tax form decreasing the 365 by those days as the property was available had legislation allowed rentals; therefore the property was simply "not rented".
Hi @Lorna170,
Thank you so much! My accountant-friend said the same thing last year so it's great to see yours said the same as well!
I did not think about Covid restrictions. In general, I blocked of the calendar here or there because I knew I would be unable to turnover the room or feel sufficiently safe in my home (we rent a room in the house vs. a separate property). It makes sense that the room would have been on offer otherwise!
I think, my link above didn't work, I apologize.

You get these details, so you can easily calculate the available nights, from booked + unbooked:
@Till-and-Jutta0 Sadly this is not so useful when your country has a financial year starting April 5.
Due to the complexities of the UK rules for furnished holiday lets we keep an excel spreadsheet that allows us to cut the data as needed.
So is the calendar for past months unavailable? I had a number of notes in the "private note" section that I needed to calculate my personal use. Cant see January, Feb or march now!
