Why did they remove the promotion option?

I was using the promotion option to give discounts. Now, it's gone. Why would they do that? Does it help anyone get more bookings. Sometimes when I see the strike though I think maybe something is wrong with that place.

The option is not removed, but the message can be "no promotions available"
