Wichita Kansas Short Term Rental Regulations
Is there an experienced host in the Wichita/Sedgwick County area that can help me break down the short-term rental regulations for this market?
All I could find online is news articles stating that there is a 7-night minimum stay requirement for areas zoned as "residential". I'd like more details about taxes, regulations and various ordinances.
Thanks!

@Maurice216 City of Wichita doesn't have a specific ordinance for short term rentals. However, the code cites that transient guests are those who stay less than a week in hotels and roominghouses. It seems their position is if their is no specific ordinance, it's unlawful. The then city planning manager, Scott Knebel, stated “In a residentially zoned area, our code doesn’t permit that presently...". You can find the municipal code on municode.
