York UK - Permission for FHL

I'm wondering if Hosts in York had to apply to the Council to run their RHL? Do I need Council permission like Planning consent? ny help in my location would be most welcome. Thanks, J.

@John6933 Your best bet is to call the council. Lots of plans in Scotland and Wales but England generally haven't decided what to do yet. I think only London has strict restrictions.
