Hello, my name is Melissa Lesh. I'm an air bnb super host in Richmond VA. My partner and I are about to open up another air bnb downtown. We have a commercial office are are interested in exploring the option of listing it as short term event / studio / co-working space. Can anyone share their experience with doing this and what it means now that air bnb will be opening up option on their platform? I'd love to know what demand there is for these kind of spaces (with a bathoom but without beds) and how this needs to be navigated with zoning. Thank you in advance!

Hi @Elisa ! Thanks for getting back to me on this. The space is a large studio, approx 400 sq ft with tall ceilings and a large bay window. I haven’t gotten an official occupancy number yet (trying to figure out how to do that) but I hope to as a next step and will plan the space accordingly. Let me know if you have any insight on this. Thanks so much!
I didn't knoiw Airbnb were moving into hiring out events/co-working spaces - can you link to information about this @Melissa2968
