Has anyone experienced missing money in their payout? My guest was charged over $ 1,400 I received 1,000 and I have been waiting for a week airb to tell me where is the missing $.
@Annelise14 The guest will always be charged more than the host receives - Service fees from guest, service fees from host plus any taxes etc. How much are you missing - surely not $400
He was charged 1400 and I received 1,085.
I have been calling and writing and always get the same answer: you will be contacted by a specialist as soon as one becomes available. Two weeks and nothing happened yet. Money aside, I am quitting airb if this is their customer service since I can do long term rent myself.

I usually have a 20% discrepancy, yours seen a little large. There should be a breakdown for you to see.
@Sandra126 Actually 40% is about right when you look at all the local taxes etc that are added to a stay in @Annelise14 's listing
Our local taxes are not very high and 40% was never taken before.
