Hello I am struggling with the below issues
we arrived at the reserved property and there were problems from the very first moment regarding those issues: dirtiness all over, moisture from the side of the wall above the bed which caused me heavy cough during the night, the bed sheets were 100% polyester and had holes and broken zips on the pillowcases and when we asked from the host to change it with cotton he said that there are not available and he was uncertain of when he would be able to bring us new sheets without holes on them. There were no second sheets or towels in the house. There was only half toilet paper roll in each bathroom which indicates that we had to use the toilet paper that was left from the previous guests which is against COVID -19 rules. It was not clear which is the hot water switch so we had to guess. The house also is full of ants and one of the window nets is in awful condition . We contacted the host regarding all the above issues and asked him to cancel the reservation for us so that we can get a full refund apart from the cost of the first night and his answer was that he cannot do that because he is a super host and because he wouldn’t accept our complaints. He insists that we have to cancel and get half refund back. He was not cooperative at all. What we ask is a full refund.
After reporting the issues above to the help team, they got back to me telling me that the host denies all responsibility and refuses to compensate me the rest of the amount, so I only got back a small part of it after I cancelled.
worst of all is that the host offered me to pay me the rest of the money after I cancel and then of course he disappeared

You could also have asked the host to shorten the reservation ("change"option) and have instant refund for the unused nights.
For now you can only dispute the case with Airbnb, providing evidence of the issues. If the host promised you a refund, it must be recorded in the message system.
