Account verification

Airbnb asked us to verify our account (for supposed anti money laundering purposes). This was done, but it obviously didn't work, as we were asked to do it again - which we did although it was a pain to do so. We have just been asked to do it a third time, which I don't understand. In the meantime airbnb are withholding payment to us. I have contacted the helpline, but the numpties who who work there are of no help at all. They just repeat the mantra that we have to go through the process again, and again, and again .......

Any suggestions?
