Add security deposit after reservation is confirmed

Hello There,

It's been a year since I've hosted and I had to relearn the whole now AirBnB web interface.  Through my listing setup I didn't see the security deposit option.  I have two confirmed bookings and I was wondering if there is a way to ask for these guests for a security deposit?

No. If you add one to your listing now, it only applies to future reservations.

Did you ask those booked to rebook? That's what I'm thinking of doing because I didn't realize I had to add the security deposit either.

I would not worry about it, thesecurity deposit is pretty meaningless anyway. If I was your guest I would not be impressed if you asked me to do this and anyway it would cost me.

Hi, just wondering if anything has changed on this. We have some bookings that we'd like to add a security deposit. Asking our guests to re-book isn't an option for us.
