Adding local transit tax to listing

I am trying to add the local transit tax for my area to my listing.  It isn't clear to me whether a) I should include that in the listing price (and recalculate my state tax payment) b) Whether AirBnb has arrangements with my specific locale or c) If there is a place within pricing to add (I cannot locate one.....)  Can anyone help?

If Airbnb already has arrangements with your locale, it will automatically be calculated with the booking and remitted on your behalf.  There is not currently a way you can add it as a separate line item at this point.  So you can either gross up your listing to include the tax or clearly spell out in your listing how you will collect the tax (some people ask for it in cash upon arrival, some people will send a request through the Resolution Center after the guest books, etc).

@Marilee1  If you go to the Help Center and search for occupancy tax, there is a list of where Air BNB has a contract to collect tax.
