Advertising Special Offers

Hi everyone, I am a new host anxiously waiting for my first guests to arrive in a few days.

My question is about showing my potential guests that I am willing to make special offers at specific dates - specifically those between other bookings.

I know that I can write something in the description area, but I wonder if it is allowed to place such an offer on the first photograph of my listing. That means placing letters on a small area of the picture, stating the offer.

For example, I don't want to charge the extra person at some specific 4 days between bookings. I haven't found a way to set that for specific dates through the settings, nor have I seen any offers being advertised on the photographs themselves on other listings.

A search through the terms of use don't mention anything for this case of advertisment, but I don't want to break any rules, so I ask here if anybody knows anything.

Please advise and thanks for the help!

@Dimitris10, you can go into your calendar and price the days in question individually. Then when someone searches on those dates, your  place will show at that new attractive price. They will not know it is a special offer however, it is just you being low on those dates. You could also write in the description something like:

Very attractive rates apply for certain dates between bookings, have a look at my calendar if you are flexible with dates!

Thank you Sandra!

As I guessed, the description method is probably the way to go.

It is the only way to do it really - however, your idea of putting text on the photo might work - as long as it is legible and looks good rather than messes up your photos.

After a response I got from the community experts, it seems that it can be done.

But the important thing is that you don't put any kind of attempt of sharing your contact information.

And of course, messing up the photos.
