I woke up this morning to yet another new version of Airbnb's website.
Disaster! Just complete disaster! It took at least 5min to find messages, and about 10 min to find where to complain about it.
I want every page to link to every other page, and a bar with simple drop down menus so that I can quickly find things. I don't want to go three layers back in the wrong direction several times over, to get to the most basic features, like the description of my home, and how to locate where I need to go to update policies, amenities, etc for that home. I want to be able to access messages and my calender from the home page. And I want to easily find where to go to get tips, advice or voice a concern, at the bottom of EVERY page. Is this so hard? Really?
Seriously?
Who is at the helm of designing this beast, and why does it need to be so complicated for hosts? Why are major changes made without notification? Oh, you made an announcement about it where? When? Someplace I can't even find or have no awareness of because you won't communicate with us directly?
Be aware that a good portion of your hosts are seniors and we are not interested in spending our retirement being on the computer all day trying to figure this out. Also be aware that for those who are not retired, those people don't HAVE all day to figure it out.
PLEASE< PLEASE<PLEASE.
Revamp this systen to something, simple, elegant and useful.
I am so tired of this never ending cat and mouse game......
