I would like to share with you some very disturbing changes to my ongoing, long-term reservation, that I've experienced lately.
After two weeks of stay, my guest's contacted me with information, that they are not happy with the standard of the place,
and will contact the Airbnb to find another place.
After few days I've received 2 messages from Airbnb, that my request to alter the reservation was approved.
Messages were sent an hour apart. The first one had shorten the stay, and the second one has prolonged the stay to to the original day.
However I have neither requested nor accepted (or received) any request for alteration!
Worried about how the changes to a reservation can be processed with no confirmation (or information) of the host.
I'm the only person with access to Airbnb account.
I've messaged the Airbnb via Help Center, but after initial response I haven't received any information form the service for 4 days.
Today I have received another (3rd) confirmation of another alteration, which same as before wasn't requested or accepted by me.
This time the stay was shortened to as little as 2 days, (instead of original 23days left)
After initial call back from Airbnb I'm currently awaiting the response.
Did anyone experience similiar issue's with the alteration of their reservations?
It disturbe's me how the airbnb processed those changes with no contact with the host at all!
