BIC/Swift code

I have a booking for March.  While I am all set up, you are requesting details for how we want to be paid.  When completing the online form, I am being asked to put in a BIC/Swift number.  I have looked at the 'help' for this and am still none the wiser.  I have no idea where to find this information on my bank statement.

Also the account number is supposed to be written in full.  I have done this and it is telling me that I have too many digits.  Please can you help?

Sincerely

Bronwyn Hallot

Bank Identifier Codes aid in international transfers of funds. It is unlikely to be on your bank statement. You should be able to find it on your bank's website or from this listing:

Most bank account numbers are less than 16 digits (which are usually used only for credit/debit cards). You may want to call your bank's customer service to confirm the BIC/Swift Codes and the account number to use for Airbnb.

Airbnb will send a test deposit (a few pennies) to verify the account. If the test deposit fails, your payments will get hung up until the band account information is corrected.
