Blocked dates on my calendar

How do I ask Airbnb a question directly?  Dates on my calendar keep being randomly blocked.  I have not blocked these dates.  I have to check the calendar daily to make sure this hasn't happened again.  I have lost bookings this way.  Has anyone else had this problem?

@Mo30 do you have 3 months availability set up? It seems it has something with it... change to 6 months and block few months manually if you need to

Yes same problem. I also had them unblock dates that I had blocked for another rental site. I now have double booking and can not get anyone to address it. Call center is AWFUL unskilled, loud, bad connection and no resolution.

I am afraid I don't know the answer to your question -- but I've had the opposite experience.  Blocked dates on my calendar have become unblocked by Airbnb numerous times, resulting in people trying to reserve my place when it is not available.  So that doesn't result in great host-guest relations from the git go!

Yes!!! I'm so frustrated right now...just figuring out why I haven't had any new bookings and its because the App has blocked off all my dates-EVERY SINGLE DAY...how do I get it to not do this???

I have the same problem, my calendar has been blocked by airbnb for a few months!!!! I was busy arranging a lovely booking with a family who wanted to re-apply because they were not quite ready to confirm.  This is most frustrating! I had declined a few bookings myslef (which is my choice) why give the option if you cant make that choice yourself. How does one resolve this issue? My calendar is now blocked for the season????!!!!!!

Yes I have had dates blocked by Airbnb and have lost possible reservations.  To make it doubly worse, I have linked my Airbnb with VRBO and when Airbnb blocks a night, VRBO shows that night as "reserved by Airbnb".  I, too need to look at both calendars each day and unblock them.  If I don't I don't get inquiries and no reservation...and no income.  This is so frustrating.  What is happening to technician on Airbnb?

and when sync'd to VRBO dates appear Unavailable.

If ANYONE knows why this is happening, PLEASE let us know.

YES! I'm brand new. My place was "Listed," yet when I tried to find it on the site by choosing a date within the next week, and then filtered the price to within a couple dollars of it, it still didn't show up.  Purgatory!  I only found out by chance that the next six days were BLOCKED on my calendar, for absolutely no reason [not linked with any other calendars] - and it's Labor Day weekend, thanks a lot - and then it took forever to simply find out how to unblock them.  Not impressed at ALL with how crazily difficult it is to navigate this site.

Hi everyone.  Has Airbnb answered anyone’s question as to why dates on calendar are being randomly blocked.  I have to check my calendar daily to stop it.  Any answers or help would be appreciated.

@Anonymous often the funny behavior of the calendar is due to the way the listing is set up.

Hi Matthew.  That is random too.  Sometimes it can be a whole week.  Sometimes a weekend.  Sometimes just a random day.  I see others are having the same issues.  It only started this year.  Very frustrating having to check the calendar all the time.

I am having the same problem that radom dates are blocked, this is super frustrating why doesn't AIRBNB fix the software bug? I was a software engineer this cannot be that hard to fix!

Airbnb has blocked my calendar randomly. I am in contact with an Airbnb Specialist and luckily she has been trying her best to get the issue resolved.

Unfortunately in-spite of all her sincere efforts and communication with Airbnb Technical team the issue remains unresolved.

Its super frustrating that we are not only missing on bookings during a very busy period but we will also lose our super host status at the next assessment even though the problem is caused by an Airbnb Software bug. 

Airbnb should not penalize hosts if and when the problem is their creation and not the host.
