Booking Error

A guest who has 6 id verifications tried to book dates at my listing on instant book but got an error message and so booked elsewhere instead. The dates are still blocked on my calendar with " verification pending " written across them. I checked it was the same guest by looking at her profile. It said she had 12 hours to confirm her verification so I thought the dates would become available again to other guests after 12 hrs elapsed but they are still blocked out. I 've lost her booking but want to open them up so others can book. What can I do about this?
