Business Travel Ready

Hello,

I wanted to see if someone could clarify the 'no pets on premesis' in the business travel listing. We live in a separate apartment above the unit we are airbnbing. We have two dogs. They aren't allowed in the airbnb unit, but they are allowed in the yard which the airbnb guest is also welcome to use. Can we qualify for business travel or no?

I believe it's a bit of a gray area. Personally, I would mark your listing as business ready (given the circumstances) but in the listing, explain the circumstances.

Have you tried a search in this forum, @Nicole268? I typed "pets business ready" into the search bar and got a list of hits. I think you do qualify as business ready, but you must also state in the description that pets have access to the shared yard. Someone who is very allergic will want to know this, and if you are not upfront about it, they will have reason to complain.

But take a look at what others have said.
