Business energy supplier

I recently bought an Airbnb in Scotland, and the gas supplier is Opus and electricity's with OVO, both are business accounts.

Do you need to choose a supplier with business rates for energy, and if yes, why?

Sorry, never worded my query well enough...what I was meaning is do you have to use a company that offers business rates and why? Does anyone use a residential rate or must that only be used if it's your main address?
