During the summer season I have a 7 day minimum with only Saturday check-ins. I find the view of the calendar very confusing and believe potential guests will also. I have a week left during high season, but when guests look at the calendar they only see one day, all others are blocked out. Some not familar with Airbnb could assume that only one day is available. Could the calendar view not be highlighted to show availablilty in another way rather than showing only one day available?
Hello @Linda810 ,
I looked at your listing and i totally agree. It only shows a saturday as available, so at first glance not possibe to book for a week. But actually you can !
@Linda810 I agree... but luckly, guests will just set check in and check out days and available listings will show. I doubt many people choose a listing and then look for available days... but it can happen, I agree
Calendar is not user friendly if you have different set ups like min stay or check in/out at specific days. Before it was possible to see all of these special requirements at once , now you have to click on each day or period of days to see it. This is not good. Very confusing 😞
I actually had a message from a former guest who looked at the calendar and commented if I had any cancellations to let them know. They thought I only had two days at the time available. No where does it tell the person looking at the calendar that it does not reflect availability.
