Can I co-host an experience?

Can I co-host an experience?

Hi, do you know if I can co-host experiences for experience hosts? Same idea as co-hosting places. If so, can I do it from my account? i.e. group them under one account even though the hosts will vary from once experience to the next?

I haven't seen that option - remember an experience is usually much more dependent on the experience/knowledge/character etc of the person leading it. I can see problems emerging if a guest books an experience after reading all about a host's passion and knowledge for chocolate - and then finds someone else leading the experience.

The only way possible would be to set this up with both of you as the hosts from the outset - as a type of couple - both with interchangeable skills and knowledge and make it clear that either one of you will be leading the experience.

What if the host is still doing the actual experience and the co-host is a virtual assistant helping with marketing and organizing the event? Is that allowed?

Yes this would be great if they have an option for that..!

Yes Lizzy, we have the same question. Did you get an answer from AirBnB?

Yes, I would love to use this option too. AirBnB, are you with us?

It seems quite simple @Paul1500

In their guidance  for setting up an experience it says:-

Can I host with someone else?

If you want to host with one other person, make sure their name is mentioned on your experience listing so that guests know who they’ll be with. They’ll also need to have a verified Airbnb profile.

OK, I'll see how that goes. 🙂

Did you ever have success in co-hosting an experience?

@Helen3, hi

I am setting up my airbnb experience and I want to add a co-host, but I haven't found the choice you mention "Can I host someone else". Can you give me more info?

Thank you!

@Paulina70 I just cut and past the information from Airbnb's Help Centre. (see link below)

https://www.airbnb.co.uk/host/experiences

If when you set up the experience,  it doesn't give you the option to add a co-host why not give Airbnb a call and see what they say?
