Cancellation and Dates unavailable

Hi all, i have recently cancelled a reservation due to the fact that it was already pre-booked by another guest. I have cancelled the second person but the days are now not available to be booked by the second person.

How can i sort the problem out for the other person ?

Hi @Michele94,

(Technically there is no pre-booking option in the Airbnb system - it's either booked or not booked.) 

Airbnb want to encourage hosts to honour bookings as much as possible so they penalise hosts who cancel reservations.  😞 

One of the penalties: the dates of the booking that you canceled are blocked.

I don't think there's anything you can do in this situation unfortunately.

yes ... what Edna says.. no such thing as pre booked only inquires!.. never cancel someone who has actually booked in place of someone who has just tentatively made a request for booking... He who snoozes loses!..lol
