We have never cancelled a guest at all. Alexis cancelled and it’s saying it was cancelled by us and it’s not right. She couldn’t make the dates available, she had previously booked and she cancelled. But not us at all.
I can't see any cancellation notice on your listing or profile so far.
If you had a message saying accept or decline Alexis cancellation, you have to "decline" the cancellation, clicking "accept" is classed as a host cancellation.
@Jonte3 . I am quivering. I took a quick look at your listing [no cancelations there that I see] and became nervous for you! That bottle of red wine. A bottle of red wine sitting on a white ottoman! Don't give clumsy guests any ideas! That is a disaster waiting to happen. Otherwise, I enjoyed looking at your photos.
@Jonte3 I don't see a cancellation on your listing either. But, in any case, NEVER, NEVER 'accept' any 'guest request to cancel' or similar sounding message. Guests can cancel and you have to do nothing. The 'guest requests cancellation' do you accept is a sneaky way that airbnb gets hosts to cancel. If this did happen to you, call airbnb and get it removed. Good luck.
