Cancellation

I'm new to AirBnB so when a guest asked me to cancel her request so that she could get back to me later. I did so. Now when we wanted to activate it again, the time is blocked and I read that Cancelling will give me a penalty. 

There was no real booking between us, just a delay of making a decision. How can the cancellation be undone?

@Laura489  Welcome to Air BNB!  I hope you will continue to read up about the Air BNB platform and rules before you take action.  You will avoid costly mistakes.  In addition to the Hosting Tips in the Help Center this site has a great deal of information.  If you go to the Community Guide on this site you will find a guide to contacting Air BNB.  Contact Air BNB to see what can be done about the cancellation.  Otherwise the full penalty of host cancellation can be applied.

If there was no booking there was nothing to cancel.

 

Probaly best to snooze your listing, work out how ABB works beofre you go live again.

 

Assuming you did cancel the only option is to conracr ABB and see what they will do, lets us know what the answer is.

I contacted and as my guest can back me up on this being our joint misstake I hope they will understand and clean the mess up.
