Changing name on the reservation

Hi all,

I have placed my reservation for me and my girlfriend.

But i just find out that i will be on a business trip at that period.

So since i'm the "owner" of the reservation i can't find a way to replace me with another person for the stay.

Would someone please share experience and a way to solve this.

@Trajche1  It's true, a reservation is not transferable to another person. As it's stated in Airbnb policy:

We require Airbnb reservations booked for personal travel to be booked by the person who's going to stay at the listing.

You will need to cancel the Airbnb booking. If you booked it in the last 48 hours, you may be covered by a grace period for free cancellations. Otherwise, the host's selected cancellation policy will be applied and you might be eligible for a partial refund. However, if you know someone with a verified Airbnb account who is ready to book in your place, perhaps you can negotiate with the host a refund in exchange for an instant replacement booking.
