Hi all,

Fellow Chapel Hill NC hosts: As you may know, the town is considering regulations for short-term rentals. Local opponents of STRs have suggested severe 14-day limits on whole-home rentals of primary residences and a complete ban on dedicated STRs in residential areas. To combat this and fight for fair regulations, we invite you to join the Chapel Hill Short-Term Rental Alliance, the collective voice of the Chapel Hill short-term rental community. We are residents, hosts, local businesses, and other advocates who understand and protect the rights of homeowners to responsibly rent their properties, who believe in fair and reasonable regulations of short-term rentals, and who depend on the value that private hosting brings to the Chapel Hill economy. In addition to advocacy, we're also building member resources to help you grow your Airbnb business and network with other support in our community.

Make sure you msg Hosts in your locations listings, send it as an 'enquiry' to let others know about this very severe restriction on one's basic legal rights.

You may recognise some listings and may like to door knock and meet up with like minded souls.

You may also like to scan through here in CC and reach out to others in your location to network together.

There's always "grey areas" in law and appeal rights available in Courts of Laws.

Use related keywords here in CC and you can find others worldwide in similar situations.

Keep an eye also under ABB under 'news' to keep abreast on what's happening in other locations.
