Good day everyone,
I have one question. I would like to set up the check in and check out for June and August only on Saturday, but I can only set up the check-in on Saturday and minimal trip length (7 days), but if somebody wants, they can book 10 days, and then check out wouldn't be on Saturday (problem for me). Can somebody help me to set up also check out for only Saturday?
Thank you in advance,
Ana

Hello @Ana417,
It's not possible to set up a limit for check out days unless you limit all stays to exactly 1 week, no more and no less. You can do that by having a minimum and maximum stay of 7 nights and check in on, for example, Saturdays only.
Setting the checkout day is something that a lot of hosts have asked about here but Airbnb hasn't provided the facility.
You could search in the "Host voice" section of this site to see if someone has suggested it.
If you find one then give it a thumbs up. If not, make a new request.
Airbnb promises to consider suggestions made there if enough people give them a thumbs up.
They don't say how many thumbs up though.
Click on "Discuss" at the top of these pages and select "Host Voice" from the menu.
Steve.

Thank you Steve for your help 🙂
Here's why 7 night minimum might cause hosts to lose bookings.
Often travellers book my listing for 14 nights, somtimes 21. A 7 night maximum would exclude these travellers who wish to stay for two or three weeks
Please add this important “Check in Check out on a specific day” feature back to custom trip lengths
@Ana417Yes booking have to be exactly 7 days, starting and ending on Saturdays with minimum 7-days. I also do a pattern somewhat, on the 5th of each month (5th,10th,15th) I have check-in and out, and also in this way stays are only for 4 days. Hmm, your pattern does give me ideas...
yes we have the same problem. For this reason cannot activate immediate booking
@Ana417, @Xavier31, something new has appeared in the time since this question was first asked (and answered correctly by @Steve143).
If you have the new Host Tools, you can now use Rule Sets to set both a required check-in AND check-out day of the week.
We still aren't sure how to get the new Host Tools (some have them, some don't), but I think it might start with activating Multi-Calendar.
Thank you we will check it out
thank you - I think it may have something to do with PMS, so airbnb on line. I'll look into it.
Thank you again
Xavier
Hello @Matthew285,
Thanks again for the hosting tools link you gave some time ago. The rules feature has now been rolled out in Ireland 🙂
The extra flexibility offered is welcome.
Steve.
I will message airbnb to ask and also consult with our PMS provider. I had airbnb on line last year and there were sooooo many problems that we decided to drop it. Also I don't think it gave us the option to decide check out days. However not sure.
we only want to ensure check days at certain times of the year. In high season and from what I can see this is the problem. If you want to have the same rule for all the year then yes the tool is available. However to be able to select times when you would like to apply the rule, then no this is not possible.
Perhaps consider two separate listings - one for high season and one for the rest ?
There are now also the new routing rules that could work to your advantage.
Thank you, yes this also accured to me. Please explain the the "new routing rules" I'm not sure I've heard of these.
Thank you
