Hi guys! I just had my first guest. He has already left, and I would like to make sure that the room is available for tonight if someone else desires. Do I need to confirm a check out online or does my room automatically become available at a certain time?

You decide check in and check out times to ensure that the room is clean and ready for your next guest. You need to leave enough time between the two to make that happen. You put this as part of your property description, but my advice would be to stress this in both the initial and final email you have with your guest and make it clear that these times are the limits as you have other guests checking in that day

As long as your calendar settings allow same-day bookings, your space will show up in searches as available on the day your guest checks out. You don't need to do anything special, other than make sure you have enough time to make your space guest-ready.
