Confirming that payment was made

I'm a first time host. I understand that payout is made after my guest checks in however how do I know that my guest has in fact paid AirBnB? Will AirBnB tell me prior to their check in if payment hasn't been recieved?

@Curtis57 as a new host you'll have to wait upto 30 days for your payout

If you accept same day bookings be aware that it takes airbnb 24hrs to process a guests payment, there is a small chance the guest could stay and the payment be rejected.
