Confusion about how many guests I should accommodate...

Hi there,

I'm pretty new to this and have a query regarding the private room I have listed.

The room accommodates max two people (Queen bed). I want to list it so it shows up in searches for both 1 and 2 guests. I have listed it now as "accommodates 1 guest" and then extra guests at an additional cost but I suspect my listing isn't showing up when you search for rooms that accommosate 2 guests.

Could this be true?

If so, how do I list my room so that it shows up for both 1 & 2 guest searches? I want to to have a price for 1 guest and a price for 2 guests.

Appreciate any advice.

Cheers,

Lydia

You are correct.  You need to put in the listing that it accomodates 2 guests.  Then under "pricing settings" and the "extra charges", put an additional cost "after one person" (which would then be for the second person). It will never go over the max number.  So you will have a price for one and also for two.

If you keep it at "accomodates one", then your listing will not come up when a party of two searches.
