Decline messages

When I get an inquiry I write back right away. Generally I am declining requests because I rent only for the full school season from Sept to May. Yet I get an email reminder from Airbnb asking me to respond. But I already have! Is this a gliche? I end up responding twice, once from my phone and once from the website.

 

Any suggestions?

There s a time delay in between the mobile and the laptop updates. 

 

You may want to close then re-open the mobile app so to get your account up to date with latest messages.

@Melissa234 Just a tip: delining reservation requests is held against you by Airbnb. You can set a minimum stay of 8 1/2 months or whatever it works out to from September to May, then people won't be able to send you requests for stays that are too short.

@Melissa234  Just make sure you aren't trying to respond directly to a notification of an inquiry or booking request. That will never go through- you can't respond to notifications. The message has to be sent through the airbnb messaging system.
