I have declined few requests in the past but today I could not do it. After clicking on the decline button, I got the window "reason for declining" and after typing the reason, the decline button was faded and could not work. How to proceed with this? I got a request from a group of young people under 25 and the resort rules prohibit me from accepting them. I have underlined on the ad that prospective renters should be over 25 but still get such requests and then have to decline them. Thanks for any help!
I can only suggest you call Airbnb and ask for their help - sounds like there is technical fault.
How do you do that? Is there a telephone number? I live in the UK.
I've got a really weird situation. I got a request from someone who has no photo of themselves, only a screenshot of a Virgin Company Logo. The 'person' asked to book my apartment at 16.00 ON THE DAY SHE WANTED IT - and for the next four or five days. Her only 'review' was for a person of a different name who had arranged for a band to stay in a place in Norfolk, England... So, we are already into day two of 'her' reservation request and my profile is telling me I still have an hour or so to answer. I have tried to decline the invitation - and block the dates on my calendar but nothing works. How can I get Air BnB to sort out what looks like some technical problem and a weird weird booking. I've already reported the 'person' but nobody has contacted me from Air BnB
