Has anyone received any SkyMiles from Delta through their partnership program with Airbnb? We signed up as new hosts and have qualified for the bonus miles but neither Delta nor Airbnb customer service has any information or knowledge on the program. They keep sending us back and forth and no one can give us any information. So frustrating.
@Pat-And-CC0 The only information I've found on Airbnb is this:
https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/1545/delta-skymiles--airbnb-partnership-program
Does that help? 🙂
I booked and completed a one month stay (completed Dec 11) a couple days after the program started (booked Nov 9, 2016) I used the Deltaairbnb.com link tru to book. I have yet (Dec 26) to revice my 1 mile per dollar Skymiles. Both airbnb and delta should offer better tracking of the program - its a poor user experince imho - you can not tell if you are booking with the Delta bonus program.
You're right. It was so, SO difficult to get a straight answer. I lost track of how many times I spoke to both Airbnb and Delta; they kept sending me back and forth between the two. FINALLY, after multiple calls and useless emails from Airbnb, they got back to us with some good information. It takes 6-8 weeks before the miles get posted to our accounts. They looked at our bookings and told us exactly when we should see the miles get credited. In January, I will follow up to see if that happens. It really shouldn't be this difficult to get information and track our qualification for miles, I totally agree.
Where can you you see that the Delta number was registered. I have one booking where the miles were credited quickly after the stay. I recently completed another stay and it still too early to say whether anything is wrong, but I'm still curious to know where I can find this info.
@Jacob144. There is no way that I know to see that you are registered the Delta Number with or on the Airbnb site. The only thing you see is your Skymiles activity AFTER you complete a stay. I had two stays I didnt get credit for. Its poorly executed but the miles can add up. You can submit for missed stays to Delta.
More from the Deltaairbnb.com site is posted below my comments - Airbnb still needs to make the user experience better for this program:
Airbnb is a technology company and they need to show it - making the user experience easier should be in their DNA. Nothing I described above isn't being accomplished by most loyalty probrgams.
Hope your listening airbnb-
Best,

More from the Deltaairbnb.com site:
HOW SOON AFTER I COMPLETE A STAY WILL I SEE MILES POST TO MY ACCOUNT?
Miles can take up to 8 weeks after your stay to be credited to your SkyMiles account. If more than 8 weeks have passed since you completed your stay and miles have not been posted to your account, please click here, log into your Airbnb account and complete the form under the "Resolve an Issue" section. To complete the form, first select Traveling > Messaging and Booking > Special Offers > click on "I still need Help" > Send a message specifying you did not receive your Delta miles. Please include your booking number and SkyMiles number.
My Airbnb stay in Cuba showed up a few days after.
I'm curious to hear if anyone was able to get the host credit. My first host was back in November during Thanksgiving so it's definitely within the 6-8 weeks by now. I haven't seen anything for that one yet. After this past Christmas, I'm well over the $2500 to qualify for the full 25k Skymiles..
Wow, I hope you get your hostmiles soon! I haven't heard of anyone receiving their miles yet. It takes so long to get answers, especially on this topic. Please let us know what transpires, we will be in your boat soon!
I signed up as a host on deltaairbnb.com and have had several completed bookings and still no miles for me either. I guess it hasn't been 6-8 weeks for me, but I'm not encouraged reading this forum!
I finally got my host miles credited a good 2 months after. The 25k total came in 2.5k, 7.5k and 15k.
wow, congratulations! You're the first I've heard of. We are still waiting....a whole month after they said we were supposed to get our miles. It's encouraging that you finally got yours! Thanks for sharing.
Yea they keep sending me back and forth too. Very frustrating.
Me, too. Exactly the same experience. It really shouldn't be this difficult. When we charge on frequent miles credit cards, we get credited automatically. We never have to keep on them like this. It's crazy. We have still not gotten any miles, a whole month after the told us we would....
It is a nice program but ..... The execution and user experince is awful. Since I am using airbnb almost exlusively for weekly or monthly stays, I have book many stays since the program started. Some stays have posted to my Delta account and some have not. Emails to airbnb go to the Community Experts that can't help you. I supposedly have an email that was elevated to a real airbnb customer service employee on Feb 16th.. but still nothing. When they do post to Delta there is no way to refernce them to which airbnb stay - no airbnb confimation number or date of stay - and the miles for some reason are not exaclty what the dollar amount is of you airbnb invoice (not the amount before or after the addtional service and cleaning fee charges). They are off by a small amount.
This should not be that hard and end up frustrating your customers that way it does.
