Different prices for diferent number of guests

My guest rented the house, stating only one guest. The house capacity is 7, and he rented the whole house. I thought this was strange and I asked him how many people were in total. He said 5 people, which is still within the house capacity. He modified the reservation to add the other 4 guests. And by doing this modification, now my payout decreased significantly. Is there anything I am missing? Why did my payout decrease when the guest added those people? Anyone? any advice?

Looking at your profile i see two listings, both offering a different room in the same house. There is not a third listing which offers the whole house. You do not charge for additional guests, so i wondered: did the guest made 2 bookings (for each room) ? And as there are 5 guests, did he add them to the different bookings (as the max. guests is 4 for one listing and 3 for the other). It's a little complicated.....

best regards,

Emiel

I have a 3rd listing that is for the whole house (both rooms together) and the max. capacity is 7 people:

I actually spoke with airbnb on the phone, they stated that the system made an mistake and they refunded me the amount that was taken from me. Very weird situation but airbnb fixed it all.
