Do i need a Classification certificate ?

Hello there Airbnb community,

I'm new to aribnb hosting and I have a question to those listings located in the Plateau/Petite Patrie. Mainly between St Denis and Christophe Colombe and situated on or off Rosemont. I was looking into the legal side of hosting in Montreal and it looks like i need some sort of "classification certificate". It said if i was located on St Denis, St Laurent or Sherbroke, I do not require a certificate but I'm close enough-ish. Here are my questions:

Do I REALLY need to get registered and get a certificate?

If so, what are the steps in getting a classification certificate in Montreal?

Awaiting all your wise words and advice

Thank you in advance

should ask local authorities, since is different in each country.. they can also guide you how to registered.. i would try the tax office or governor office
