Does money requested get the same payout split as bookings?

We just had a guest request to split his invoice into two. Basically, one for an amount matching what his insurance pays the other he'll pay himself.

What I did is send him a reservation request for the full period for a lower price. Then I send him a "request money" for the balance.

My question is: when someone pays for requested money, does the payout routing apply as for a normal booking or not?
