Double booking due to calendar error

One of my bookings for next month isn't showing on my calendar. This just came to my attention since we received another booking with coinciding dates. At first I thought they were back to back which we try and avoid by blocking the prior and following day for prepping but the first reservation doesn't appear all together. What should I do? How can I get that reservation to appear on the calendar and what happens now with the conflicting dates booked?

With an instant booking I have got double bokking on the same date. It is very unpleasunt situation and I am trying to turn the instant booking off. How would I do it and how to avoid the penalty case. Please anyone help me. Thanks in advance
