Error message

A guest requested to stay at our place and I accepted. Then a message came through saying the following "Update from Airbnb: [guest] no longer needs accommodation for these days". I tried to contact the guest a number of times but didn't hear back so I proceeded to cancel the reservation as I wanted to free it up for someone else. 

A couple of days later the guest has been in contact saying they didn't have internet and still needs to place. Now when I select the 'Special offer' button to get the listing available for the guest again I get an error message of the following "Unfortunately, a server error prevented your request from being completed. Airbnb may be undergoing maintenance or your connection may have timed out. Please try again". 

There is nothing wrong with my connection and I've been getting this error message for the past 7 hours.

I am a little confused. You said you  cancelled the booking?  

If you cancelled one of the penalties is that Airbnb will block out the dates, as you have told them they aren't available. But I can't see a cancellation on either of your listing.

 

I can only suggest you call them and see if they can help 2nd post  on this forum for contacts.
