First time listing question

I put up a listing yesterday and someone rented it today.  However, my minimum price is $500/nt. and she somehow got it for $300/nt.  Now I can't go back to her and correct it but how do I ensure it doesn't happen again?

It also didn't tell her anything about the $1000 security deposit.

THANK YOU!!!

Hello @Sue475, I see you have the "first time 20% activated", its a discount that applies for the first month. Even so this doesn't make it to a $300, did you see any other discount application you have activated? Like... 1 week discount or so? Because the discounts acumulate.

Good luck!

Make the most of it and be extra nice to these first guests so that at least you get a glowing review afterwards to set you on your way.

Airbnb does not actually collect any security deposit even if you have listed it. If you need to claim any of it you have to use the Resolution Center and request the guest to pay whatever you are asking.

Thank you so much for your response with the links!  Very helpful!

@Sue475

You have 2 discounts listed, go to "Length of stay discounts" and remove the 20% off

The special offer discount will disappear when you have 3 bookings.

@Sue475  Your place looks lovely, really nice photos. I'm one of those people to whom spelling and grammar errors jump out- you may want to correct the spelling- "to ensure all guests enjoy their stay", not there 🙂

And in the spirit of being helpful; 'foosball' table. Easily done.

Well, at least foosball is correct!  It's not football!

Eek! So, what is 'foosball', and am I missing out?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!  HATE TO LOOK LIKE A DUMMY!

"Foosball" is a kind of table top soocer. It's loosely based on association football.

@Gordon0   So do you feel you've been totally missing out now?

Erm...I think I can leave it. Seems much like table football. But who am I to argue?
