Flexible check in

I received a booking from a guest for a 12 am check in.  It was for 2 people and booked for one night.  I am new to airbnb so did not realise the importance of a check in time.  They booked 1 night, have now stayed for two nights.

e.g. they booked from 12 am on 5 Jan, arriving at 12.30 am 5 Jan and will check out on 6 Jan.  So far they have had 6 showers!

I asked the male about this and said that they had only booked 1 night and he replied about the flexible check in time, and would only relate to that.

I have set up a check in time for the future.  Just want to know if I have any recourse and be paid for two nights accommodation and all the water used?

Thank you.

@Sandra1498,

These people take advantage of you. It's a two night stay and should be payed for.Flexible check-in does offcourse not mean you can check-in at 12:30 AM on 5th jan for the night on 5 to 6 jan. That's total nonsense. You should have accepted it as a booking from 4 to 5 januari, with a very late check-in.

Best regards,

Emiel

Thank you Emiel.  I will learn how to change their reservation so I can do that in future should I need to.  I will admit to feeling very used!
