Giving a special offer

I cannot give a special offer to a quest. I do not see the button option. I have checked the FAQ on this topic, but none of the situations apply to me. The button just isnt there. What to do?

Hi, The special offer button is only available in the period of enquiry before the guest recieves a preapproval and accepts the offer. In which case they are happy with the arrangement. 

@Clare0 is very correct. Do not cancel in order to re-do things. Just leave the booking/reservation as is for now. If you are delighted when they leave, you can send them a little refund via the resolution centre as your little thank you.

@Anne-Marie6@Iris4 is correct.  You cannot send a Special Offer to a reservation request as the guest has already agreed to your posted price.  If you want to send a Special Offer, the guest needs to cancel their request and send an inquiry instead by pressing the Contact Host button.  If you have already accepted the request, dont' cancel it!!!  

Depending on whether you are charging extra for extra services or giving a discount, you can use the Resolution Center to refund or collect extra money.
