I wanted to know what the green progress bar represents on my listing. I've searched around but I might be searching for it wrong.
Hello @Vas-and-Rula0,
Could it be that there is some part of the listing process that hasn't been completed yet?
You could try going to your listing and checking that all sections have been filled out.
It reminds me of the profile status that some other sites use. Like when they say "Profile 75% complete" when you haven't added a phone number, school or collage name etc.
Steve.
Thank you for your feedback Steve,
I too thought it may be something like that and explored all parts of my listing, I filled in everything that was blank (Ony one part really, the neighborhood). Other than that it's complete.
It remains the same, so I wonder what it may be still.
Regards,
Vas
I too would love to know what this means. I've noticed my listings fluctuating between full and 80% or so, so it clearly isn't to do with a profile being incomplete. How strange to introduce something like this an not label/explain it!
Seriously... labeling it would give us the info we need to make use of it.
My one is stable in the same position. No idication of what makes it move.
Regards,
Vas
This has really been bugging me, so I called the Airbnb helpdesk last night to ask about it. The guy I was talking to didn't even know of the existence of these progress bars. I talked him through where to find them and he was genuinely surprised. He said he'd ask around and call me back. It turned out nobody in the Airbnb Dublin office had any idea what they were, so they called head office in California. Apparently it's a new roll-out and the bar relates to the "overall appeal" of a listing. Exactly what contributes to the "overall appeal" is still a bit of a mystery. They will be emailing hosts about it within the next couple of weeks. It seems single-listing hosts are able to see some information when they hover over the bar, but hosts with two or more listings don't see anything because of a bug. I guess we'll just have to be patient.
