Guest Canceled

But air bnb says "You declined Guest’s reservation request" which is NOT true.

Hi C C.  I just wondered if this is normal air bnb terminology for canceling?  I already lost my superhost status because a guest ASKED ME to cancel and I didn't realize I would jeopardize my status by doing so ( I now see that air bnb is making this clear when canceling but it wasn't made clear back when I did it).  And so this wording seems weird to me as I had nothing to do with the cancellation.
