Guest Cancellation Policy Update

Rec'd the following from Airbnb:  "xxx (host) had to cancel, but we’re here to help.
To make sure you have a great stay in xxx (city), we’ve sent you $319.61 in travel credits to spend on a new place, and found some homes we think you might like. Or, you can request a full refund. "
.
The $319.61 includes about $29 in excess of what I paid.
So my questions are:
1-Can the full $319.61 be used over several bookings?
2-Do bookings need to be in the same city as originally booked to receive that credit?
3-Is there any time limit to utilize the credit Airbnb has issued?
Thanks!

@Barry90

The credit is for you to find somewhere else to stay to replace the booking that was cancelled, not for future travel. They are for one time use.

That is my understanding but give Airbnb a call and check with them

Thanks for the reply, Helen.

That didn't however answer my questions and I could find no phone number to call Airbnb as you suggest.

I was intending to use the entire amount and more, just not in the first reservation I was making......just circumstances.  The first was for only ~$50 at one location, followed by about $$350 at a second.

Because I didn't know what would happen with the balance after the first $50 usage (forfeit balance, be able to use balance, or what), I just cancelled for a refund and forfeited their$29 incentive.  C'est la vie!

Would be nice if they were more thorough or had a way to clarify questions like this that come up.  Just a bit frustrating. I'm sure they don't really care with the volume they have, as can be seen by some of the postings I've read here.
