Guest Refund when dates gets changed

Hi

I am a guest that when booked it asked to pay straight away. We then conversed with the Host and altered the dates by reducing the booking from 5 to 4 dayss (one day less), which has all been accepted on Airbnb and says the new cost. However the charge was already on my credit, will that day be automatically refunded or do I have to do something extra on airbnb?

If you have already been charged (debited, money actually transfered), @Olivia136, the money can only be refunded in another transaction (you will be credited).
