Guest cancelation

I have a guest who book 4 days.  Than 2 days later taxed me and said he is looking for a bigger place and wants to cancel. I tooled hem that not a problem go ahead an cancel that way I have the opening on my calendar for other bookings. The problem is I have texted him several times and he still has not canceled. 

 

I think he is waiting for the last minute, which means my calendar shows those days booked. 

 

What can I do

I would call the guest and talk with him to find out if he intends to come or not.

If he is unreachable I would contact Airbnb to cancel his stay and reopen my calendar so I have a chance to rebook those dates.
