Guest cancelled and took the keys and garage remote said they wont return them unless I issue refund

A guest booked for a week, another person showed up to check in for her, I asked her who the person was, she wasnt comfortable with me asking and cancelled the reservation. 

The person she had checking in for her took my keys and garage remote, and told me she wont return them unless I give a full refund. 

HELP! What should I do in a situation like this? 

I told them I would call the policeif not returned.

Contact Airbnb immediately. And the police. Keep any contact to a minimum and stick to the Airbnb message thread so there is a record. How awful!

That is steeling in anyones book.. You have their name and number so ring the police and yes Airbnb straight away so they can be flagged and not do it to someone else.
