Guest location

Hi. I'm after some advice with regards to where guests say they are from. Guests that have met the requirements to book with me instantly seem to often have the same location (where they are from). I know that it is not accurate as one guest in particular has told me they are from Hobart, yet it states they are from Camperdown NSW! My last 5 bookings say they are from "Camperdown". Should I be nervous about this. I'm new to hosting on airbnb and I'm wondering if this is a glitch or perhaps my requirements/allowing instant bookings in naive st this stage???? Help please! Na

People create their profile once and most never bother to update it....it wouldn't particularly worry me.

There is a bug in the AirBnb system. When new guests register they appear to the host as being from Camperdown. It is not deception on the part of the guest but some glitch in the system. Best to explain this to the guests and start a conversation.

@Nat24 this happened to me a few times and it usually happened to new guests/user. I would suggest to just confirm with the guests to confirm where are they from and if there's a discrepancy, for them to update their profile, so the right information reflected on the profile.

Hi Nat, I have noticed the same with a couple of my recent bookings. I decided to sit and do nothing hoping it was just a minor glitch and would be eventually fixed. 
You can always message the guest and ask them where they are from if you are concerned.

This is happening to me also.  I'm confused about why Camperdown.  I wish air bnb would fix this
