Guest verification

We thought we were signed up that we verify eveyone as we got asked to verify more etc... Now the box is unclicked and I am not sure about an upcoming guest. He/she (only has email no picture no nothing) will not respond to my questions. Do I have the right to cancel the reservation if this person has been accepted?

Will we be hit with a fee because of it?

I am really worried after the terrible stories about Airbnb on the news lately and guests. I want my guests screened. I would of never unclicked that box.

I would definitely contact Airbnb directly to see if they can either get further verifications or possibly they would cancel on your behalf.  Do not cancel yourself.  There are significant penalties for a host cancelling a guest even if you have good reason, but don't contact Airbnb first.   Call Airbnb or message them via twitter.

Thank you. I will try and call or contact them. It seems like they are hard to get a hold of.
